4Play Lounge: What motivated you to work as a dancer? Why did you choose to dance?
Savannah: I have been dancing professionally since I was 4, so I have a lot of experience in different styles of dancing. So dance has been a big part of my life for quite some time now. I also enjoy meeting people, communicating and, of course, partying. Then I came up with the idea to put to use all of my dedication to dance into work: I found an advertisment for strippers on the internet. I did not know anything about it at the time, but I looked into it and got interested.
4Play Lounge: Have you worked in strip clubs in other countries?
Savannah: Yes, I’ve been to several countries. In fact, I previously worked in a different place here in Hungary, so I’ve had quite a lot of experience from the beginning.
4Play Lounge: Do your friends know you are working as an exotic dancer? How do you feel about this?
Savannah: Frankly, not many people know, it’s just my tight circle of friends. It doesn’t bother them, they accept me as I am. They know it’s just dancing and nothing more!
4Play Lounge: How long have you been working at 4Play Lounge?
Savannah: About a year and a half.
4Play Lounge: Do you like working here? If so, why?
Savannah: Yes, of course! What I like best about it is that the team is very fair! From the management, the girls and the hostesses to the bartenders and doormen. Besides, I feel completely safe. I have never really been to a place like this where they pay so much attention to everything and everyone.
4Play Lounge: How would you describe the relationship between the dancers: do you compliment each other well or are you more like rivals?
Savannah: A lot of people would think 40 girls locked up together is a recipe for disaster. Not at all, I think we work very well together. We understand each other, and we can work very well together. Many friendships have formed here. Of course, a healthy level of rivalry can sometimes come up, but this is typical everywhere, because, as it is a strip club, we have to take our chances with each other. But I couldn’t highlight any particular conflict.
4Play Lounge: So can we say it’s a kind of teamwork?
Savannah: Yes, absolutely! ☺
4Play Lounge: Do you have a special performance or favorite dance move?
Savannah: I wouldn’t really say I had any favourite choreography. In my opinion, I like to impress the guests by dancing very erotically, passionately.
4Play Lounge: In our previous interviews, Ági and Tünde emphasized the importance of eye contact. What do you think?
Savannah: I’m just dancing to music, focusing. I don’t really like eye contact because I like to exclude the outside world and give myself totally to dance. It works for me.
4Play Lounge: Have you ever seen a guest try to cross the line? If so, how did you handle the situation?
Savannah: Sure, guests really like trying, but I always see it coming. Over the years, I’ve been able to gain so much experience that I can foresee pretty much what will happen. Fortunately, I haven’t had a particularly bad experience yet. You have to be aware of the situation: first, only minor warnings, and then, if a client does not understand, I take it more seriously. In this case, managers, hostesses and doormen can also help with the situation if necessary.
4Play Lounge: What is your most memorable experience at 4Play Lounge?
Savannah: I’d rather have more small, fun experiences than an outstanding one. This is the case when the guest’s reaction requires improvisation. There were some who ran away before or during the show, or who had to be literally pulled up on stage.
4Play Lounge: Let’s look at ‘weekdays’: how do you feel about your life being the other way around: working at night, sleeping during the day? How do you spend the daylight hours?
Savannah: I think it’s one of the hardest things about this job that at night, when we should be sleeping, we work, but of course it has two sides. The nice and comfortable part of being able to handle my official business during the day is not having to get up early. The disadvantage is that our biological clocks go crazy, which is why we are often more tired than able to get things done during the day.
4Play Lounge: How do you relax after work?
Savannah: Because we usually finish at 5 am, I’m too tired to do anything. At this point, I just go home, eat a little, put on some TV and sleep.
4Play Lounge: How do you spend your free time?
Savannah: I really enjoy the outdoors, hiking, dancing, reading, partying, and meeting people.
4Play Lounge: What books do you read?
Savannah: I really like crime, erotic novels, true stories.
4Play Lounge: Do you have a favorite show?
Savannah: Yes, Nip/Tuck, which is about two plastic surgeons.
